S3 Ep 6 — Getting The Real Tea with Draya Parks, Clara Porter, and Taylor Thompson
Camera cuts to sitting in a stylish studio set as she looks at the camera
Draya: Welcome back to another episode of Getting The Real Tea! I’m your host, Draya Parks, and today we’ve got a cute show for you girls, yes! *snaps* But before we dive into all the tea, let’s talk about the show that everyone’s talking about — Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip: Fiji. This is the show where some of the biggest names in reality TV come together for a weekend full of fun, drama, and everything in between. And trust me, this season is one for the books!
The live audience cheers with excitement
Draya: But I’m not alone, hunni. Joining me as a co-host is none other than my fellow executive producer, the amazing Taylor “TT” Thompson. We’ve been working hard to bring you all the drama, fun, and unforgettable moments from RHUGT:Fiji. And for our special guest today, we have the legendary Clara Porter! Clara is not only a powerhouse producer with her own network and hit shows like Legendary Housewives of Hidden Hills and New York, but she’s also one of the stars of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip: Fiji. Clara, along with Victoria Franklin, Yvonne Langley, Billie Reed, Teairra K-Blanco, Dr. Tanya Love, Alexis Benton, and Belen Russo, brought the heat to Fiji, and we’re here to get all the tea. Everyone welcome TT & Clara! Hey girls!

Clara: *Shimmies out and blows kisses to the audience before sitting down* Hey ladies!
Draya: Thank you, girls, for being here! RHUGT:Fiji is on the horizon! How are we feeling?
Clara: I’m thrilled and excited, to say the least!
Taylor: I’m excited for everyone to see the chaos that was Fiji! *laughs*
Draya: Clara, as both a producer and now a cast member, how was the transition for you stepping in front of the camera for RHUGT: Fiji?
Clara: Well, it was a lot for me, if I’m being honest. Especially right after giving birth to my baby. That, coupled with always being in producer mode, made it a weird adjustment. It took a second for me to realize that some of these ladies were fighting for relevance. Something I don’t ever feel the need to do.
Taylor: *Laughs* I heard that, Clara. So before you touched down in Fiji, did you have any preconceived notions about any of your co-stars, and if so, did any of those initial thoughts change once you got to the villa?
Draya: TT & I have known Clara for years, y’all. When I tell you she’s the definition of a bad b*tch, we knew she had to be on RHUGT:Fiji to represent the Legendary Housewives franchise! I’m so glad you chose to do this.
Clara: I had no preconceived notions at all! I came in ready and willing to get to know all of the women. After the first night, I quickly regret ever meeting some of these ladies. I definitely could have gone my whole life without meeting them. *giggles*
Draya: *laughs* I’m dead. I also think you handled yourself like a pro since you didn’t know the majority of them. I know you’re friends with Victoria and are cool with Yvonne. Both had some heated moments throughout the episode. Where do you stand on their feud on the show?
Taylor: I agree, Draya.
Clara: Yeah, you have to be a real leader and a confident person to successfully maneuver in such a divided, chaotic group. I love Victoria, and since wrapping the show, I’ve grown to love Yvonne the same. I honestly think they’re two of a kind. Two fabulous, shady, mid-aged women who, in my opinion, always speak in old English. Sometimes you clash with someone similar to you because the other party is making you confront what you secretly hate about yourself. Not to get in my psychiatrist bag, but hey. *shrugs*
Taylor: I love that! Clara, without giving too much away and spoiling what’s in store for viewers, I do want to ask you…Of all your castmates, who did you vibe with the least and why? *Laughs * Give us the tea girl! Who is the one lady you just did not vibe with?! We don’t need all the details and the why, but give us a little tease. *Laughs*
Clara: *starts laughing* There’s honestly two that come to mind. One being Tanya, the one cosplaying as a doctor. She can’t keep a man or a job.
Draya: Wait, you explained their dynamic perfectly. Watching their show, RHOBB, and now this show, I’ve always wondered if Yvonne is threatened by her because both are quite fast and witty with their words. Watching the episode, I think Yvonne gets irritated by V, but in a more sisterly, middle-aged way.
Taylor: *laughs* Not cosplaying, you don’t think that woman is a doctor?
Clara: If she’s a doctor, she must’ve got that degree from an unaccredited school that doesn’t have a mascot. Someone that dumb I’m surely barely made it through middle school, let alone medical school.
Taylor: Oop *laughs* I will leave it there so we don’t get into spoiler territory. I think it’s safe to see we will see Clara and Tanya have some beef this season!
Clara: We will see Tanya try to have beef. *smiles*
Draya: When I tell y’all, Clara and Tanya have some funny moments. I was laughing bad while watching the episodes *laughs while looking at the camera* As someone who’s been around so many strong personalities and people like Tanya; without spoiling, I’m curious — what surprised you the most about your interactions with the other ladies during this trip? Were there any moments that really caught you off guard?
Clara: In my years of producing, I’ve seen some things! So I’ll have to say no. Nothing surprises me anymore. But definitely prepare yourselves to see some mess! Never-ending mess.
Taylor: I know that’s right! Expect the unexpected! While watching episode 1, I couldn’t help but have a good Kiki noticing the drama really kicked off when Alexis Benton brought her dog, Fluffy, to the villa. You and Victoria had allergic reactions, so I have to ask, What were your thoughts then and even watching it back about the situation? I know the legendary housewives would never bring their little mutt to the show. You know that little bitch bit me in Greenwich!
Draya: A normal person wouldn’t bring they dog to a GIRLS trip!
Taylor: *Looks at the camera* Draya was producing the segments the dog was in, ya know I sued Alexis when that dog bit me; I posted it on my tea page!
Clara: I think Victoria had a stomach bug from a three-day-old chitlin omelet, if I’m being honest. But fluffy was kicking my ass, oh my gosh. I don’t see the point in bringing a dog unless it’s a support pet.
Taylor: Do you think Alexis needed a support pet? Did you get unstable vibes from her?
Clara: I mean, she seemed normal on the trip. But from what I heard since then, she’s had a manic episode or something? I hope she’s okay!
Draya: I hope so too! The production team hasn’t heard from her.
Clara: Do we need a search party? Jeez.
Draya: At this point, we do. Y’all, while watching the episode, how did we really feel about Yvonne joining the girls on the trip? Did we get the sense that she genuinely wanted to be there, or did she come across as a bit condescending? I thought she was a little condescending.
Clara: I definitely got the vibe that she felt maybe out of place if anything.
Taylor: Maybe because she was about 15 years older than everyone else. She doesn’t have those issues in Beverly Beach. *Shrugs*
Clara: *giggles* Well…
Taylor: I do want to go back a bit to Alexis. We got a bit of a tease of Billie and Alexis having some issues. What are your thoughts on the two Hall of Fame girls having this beef?
Clara: I don’t get their beef, honestly, but Billie definitely was eating Alexis up.
Taylor: Oop. *Laughs* I guess we will see! *Looks at Draya* We are going to have to do some polls when this finishes airing.
Draya: Thank you so much, TT and Clara, for joining the show today and giving us all the tea and thoughts. It’s been an absolute pleasure having you both here! And to everyone watching, don’t forget to watch the Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip: Fiji. *cast photo shows up on screen* The Belen, Alexis, and Billie drama heats up this Sunday, August 31st, at 8:00 PM CT on Activator Productions. Trust me, you won’t want to miss it!
